# ThanksTree vs Digital U

The clearest difference is update cadence: Digital U at every 3 weeks against ThanksTree's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThanksTree sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month and Digital U sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ThanksTree ships an update every 2 months, Digital U every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
