# TipTracker vs Tip Tracker°

The clearest difference is ratings volume: TipTracker at 9.5K against Tip Tracker°'s 165. Tip Tracker°'s advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TipTracker sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Tip Tracker° sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TipTracker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TipTracker has 9.5K ratings behind it against 165, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of TipTracker's written reviews are positive against 58% of Tip Tracker°'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TipTracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Tip Tracker° fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
