# Beyond the Mountain vs Blindfall

The clearest difference is update cadence: Blindfall at every 4 days against Beyond the Mountain's monthly. Blindfall also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 59%). Beyond the Mountain's advantage is ratings volume (58 vs 6) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beyond the Mountain sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Blindfall sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beyond the Mountain holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Beyond the Mountain has 58 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Beyond the Mountain's written reviews are positive against 86% of Blindfall's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Beyond the Mountain ships an update monthly, Blindfall every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
