# Fancy Blast vs Nova Match

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nova Match at 100% against Fancy Blast's 57%. Nova Match also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Fancy Blast's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fancy Blast sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Nova Match sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nova Match holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fancy Blast has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of Fancy Blast's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nova Match's.

Fancy Blast ships an update every 3 months, Nova Match every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
