# Penske Driver vs ClearChain

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ClearChain at 67% against Penske Driver's 21%. Penske Driver's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (2.6K vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Penske Driver holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Penske Driver has 2.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Penske Driver's written reviews are positive against 67% of ClearChain's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Penske Driver ships an update every 5 weeks, ClearChain every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
