# Chappy's vs Guthrie's Fried Chicken

The clearest difference is rating: Guthrie's Fried Chicken at 3.4 against Chappy's's 2.1. Guthrie's Fried Chicken also leads on ratings volume (154 vs 15). Chappy's's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 3%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Guthrie's Fried Chicken holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guthrie's Fried Chicken has 154 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Chappy's's written reviews are positive against 3% of Guthrie's Fried Chicken's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
