# 笔尖日记 vs Memopad

The clearest difference is ads: 笔尖日记 at none against Memopad's shown. 笔尖日记 also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (119 vs 14). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 笔尖日记 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Memopad sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
