# 笔尖日记 vs Notes

The clearest difference is rating: 笔尖日记 at 4.9 against Notes's 3.0. 笔尖日记 also leads on ratings volume (120 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 笔尖日记 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

笔尖日记 holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 笔尖日记 has 120 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of 笔尖日记's written reviews are positive against 100% of Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

笔尖日记 ships an update every 3 days, Notes every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
