# Alias vs Baraxax

The clearest difference is rating: Alias at 4.6 against Baraxax's 3.7. Alias also leads on ratings volume (177 vs 3) and chart position (#160 vs unranked). Baraxax's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 79%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Alias holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Alias has 177 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Alias's written reviews are positive against 100% of Baraxax's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Alias ships an update every 2 months, Baraxax every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
