# Google Chat vs ReelTrak

The clearest difference is update cadence: Google Chat at weekly against ReelTrak's every 2 months. Google Chat also leads on ratings volume (307K vs 1) and chart position (#33 vs unranked). ReelTrak's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReelTrak holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Chat has 307K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Google Chat ships an update weekly, ReelTrak every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
