# Zumiez vs Exit 31

The clearest difference is rating: Exit 31 at 5.0 against Zumiez's 4.1. Exit 31 also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Zumiez's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 42) and chart position (#187 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Exit 31 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zumiez has 5.2K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two.
