# TeeOff vs Golf Moose

The clearest difference is rating: TeeOff at 4.8 against Golf Moose's 4.3. TeeOff also leads on ratings volume (9.9K vs 40) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Golf Moose's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (65% vs 56%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TeeOff holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TeeOff has 9.9K ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of TeeOff's written reviews are positive against 65% of Golf Moose's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TeeOff ships an update every 2 weeks, Golf Moose every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
