# Video Exporter vs Image Store

The clearest difference is rating: Image Store at 5.0 against Video Exporter's 3.6. Video Exporter's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 21 months vs every 67 months). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Image Store sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Video Exporter asks for nothing beyond the download.

Image Store holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Video Exporter has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Video Exporter ships an update every 21 months, Image Store every 67 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
