# Workable vs Nook

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nook at 100% against Workable's 39%. Workable's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Workable asks for nothing beyond the download.

Workable holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Workable has 148 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Workable's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Workable ships an update fortnightly, Nook every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
