# Konverse vs Translate Now *

The clearest difference is rating: Konverse at 5.0 against Translate Now *'s 4.3. Translate Now *'s advantage is ratings volume (891 vs 4) and chart position (#25 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Konverse sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Translate Now * sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Konverse holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Translate Now * has 891 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Konverse ships an update every 2 weeks, Translate Now * weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
