# APX SmartCapture vs SiteDocs

The clearest difference is review sentiment: APX SmartCapture at 100% against SiteDocs's 28%. SiteDocs's advantage is rating (2.7 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (43 vs 6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SiteDocs holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SiteDocs has 43 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of APX SmartCapture's written reviews are positive against 28% of SiteDocs's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

APX SmartCapture ships an update monthly, SiteDocs every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
