# IC Pro vs Balatarin

The clearest difference is rating: Balatarin at 5.0 against IC Pro's 4.6. IC Pro's advantage is ratings volume (250 vs 2) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Balatarin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IC Pro has 250 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IC Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, Balatarin every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 14, 2026 respectively.
