# Astrospheric vs ITMO

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Astrospheric at 482 against ITMO's 8. Astrospheric also leads on chart position (#88 vs unranked) and device support (3 vs 1). ITMO's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Astrospheric sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and ITMO sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ITMO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Astrospheric has 482 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of Astrospheric's written reviews are positive against 100% of ITMO's.

Astrospheric ships an update every 2 weeks, ITMO every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
