# Cloud Tracking vs IOTGPS

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Cloud Tracking at 24 against IOTGPS's 3. IOTGPS's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.8 for Cloud Tracking against 3.7 for IOTGPS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cloud Tracking has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cloud Tracking ships an update every 6 weeks, IOTGPS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
