# pixelizer vs LiveMic

The clearest difference is price: LiveMic at Free against pixelizer's $0.99. LiveMic also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.7) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). pixelizer's advantage is review sentiment (40% vs 0%). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

LiveMic is free to download; pixelizer costs $0.99 up front. pixelizer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and LiveMic sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LiveMic holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LiveMic has 37 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of pixelizer's written reviews are positive against 0% of LiveMic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

pixelizer ships an update every 2 months, LiveMic every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
