# Plus PDV vs uScan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: uScan at 47% against Plus PDV's 0%. uScan also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Plus PDV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. uScan sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Plus PDV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Plus PDV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: uScan has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Plus PDV's written reviews are positive against 47% of uScan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Plus PDV ships an update every 2 months, uScan every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
