# 2go Chat vs MEGA Cheap Data

The clearest difference is rating: 2go Chat at 4.9 against MEGA Cheap Data's 4.4. 2go Chat also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). MEGA Cheap Data's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ratings volume (177 vs 12). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 2go Chat sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. MEGA Cheap Data asks for nothing beyond the download.

2go Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MEGA Cheap Data has 177 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of 2go Chat's written reviews are positive against 40% of MEGA Cheap Data's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

2go Chat ships an update every 2 weeks, MEGA Cheap Data every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
