# WP TV vs Catch The Fire TV

The clearest difference is monetization model: Catch The Fire TV at free with in-app purchases against WP TV's subscription. WP TV's advantage is ratings volume (164 vs 4) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WP TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Catch The Fire TV sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for WP TV against 5.0 for Catch The Fire TV. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WP TV has 164 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.
