# MYBOX vs Shavella

The clearest difference is monetization model: Shavella at free against MYBOX's free with in-app purchases. MYBOX's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 75%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MYBOX ships an update monthly, Shavella every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
