# Voice vs imi

The clearest difference is update cadence: imi at every 2 weeks against Voice's every 3 months. imi also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). Voice's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Voice sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and imi sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Voice ships an update every 3 months, imi every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
