# Subat vs Twelve

The clearest difference is rating: Twelve at 5.0 against Subat's 4.2. Twelve also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Subat's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Twelve holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Subat has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of Subat's written reviews are positive against 100% of Twelve's.

Subat ships an update every 2 months, Twelve every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
