# Alefba vs Learn Persian (Beginners)

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Alefba at 100% against Learn Persian (Beginners)'s 64%. Alefba also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ads (none vs shown). Learn Persian (Beginners)'s advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 11 months) and rating (4.5 vs 4.1). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Persian (Beginners) sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Alefba asks for nothing beyond the download.

Learn Persian (Beginners) holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Alefba's written reviews are positive against 64% of Learn Persian (Beginners)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
