# CatchACharacter vs VOID

The clearest difference is ads: VOID at none against CatchACharacter's shown. VOID also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). CatchACharacter's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CatchACharacter sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and VOID sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CatchACharacter ships an update fortnightly, VOID every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
