# Scale vs Quike Widget

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scale at none against Quike Widget's 3. Scale also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Quike Widget's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (6K vs 6). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quike Widget sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Scale asks for nothing beyond the download.

Quike Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quike Widget has 6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
