# Scale vs SayMi

The clearest difference is rating: Scale at 4.0 against SayMi's 3.5. Scale also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). SayMi's advantage is ratings volume (239 vs 5) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scale holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SayMi has 239 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Scale ships an update monthly, SayMi weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
