# QuickCode vs Focus Note

The clearest difference is price: Focus Note at Free against QuickCode's $0.99. Focus Note also leads on rating (3.6 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). QuickCode's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (50% vs 31%). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Focus Note is free to download; QuickCode costs $0.99 up front. Focus Note sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. QuickCode asks for nothing beyond the download.

Focus Note holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Note has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of QuickCode's written reviews are positive against 31% of Focus Note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

QuickCode ships an update every 5 months, Focus Note every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
