# StarTimes ON vs Lokole App

The clearest difference is rating: StarTimes ON at 3.5 against Lokole App's 1.0. StarTimes ON also leads on ratings volume (215 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Lokole App's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StarTimes ON sells 21 one-off in-app purchases and Lokole App sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StarTimes ON holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StarTimes ON has 215 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

StarTimes ON ships an update every 2 months, Lokole App every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
