# OmniBand+ vs Sportmaster

The clearest difference is rating: Sportmaster at 5.0 against OmniBand+'s 2.0. OmniBand+'s advantage is monetization model (free vs subscription) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Sportmaster holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OmniBand+ has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OmniBand+ ships an update every 3 months, Sportmaster every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
