# Rustan's FSP vs Parlon

The clearest difference is rating: Parlon at 5.0 against Rustan's FSP's 2.2. Parlon also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). Rustan's FSP's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Parlon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rustan's FSP has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Rustan's FSP ships an update every 4 months, Parlon fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
