# XProCam vs AlopexCamera

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: XProCam at none against AlopexCamera's 1. XProCam also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). AlopexCamera's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

XProCam ships an update every 2 months, AlopexCamera fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
