# A vs ChatSpace

The clearest difference is rating: A at 5.0 against ChatSpace's 4.6. ChatSpace's advantage is ratings volume (4K vs 2) and chart position (#66 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and ChatSpace sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

A holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChatSpace has 4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

A ships an update every 3 weeks, ChatSpace fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
