# A vs Faxo

The clearest difference is rating: A at 5.0 against Faxo's 4.6. Faxo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (2K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Faxo sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

A holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Faxo has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

A ships an update every 3 weeks, Faxo every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
