# Drawing Pad vs Doodle Magic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Doodle Magic at 81% against Drawing Pad's 44%. Doodle Magic also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Drawing Pad's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drawing Pad sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Doodle Magic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Doodle Magic holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3.
