# Math Interactive vs University Math

The clearest difference is review sentiment: University Math at 100% against Math Interactive's 58%. University Math also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 13 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Math Interactive's advantage is ratings volume (726 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Interactive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and University Math sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

University Math holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Math Interactive has 726 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
