# TA Assistant vs Wi

The clearest difference is rating: Wi at 5.0 against TA Assistant's 1.5. TA Assistant's advantage is review sentiment (10% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (8.1 vs 13.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of TA Assistant's written reviews are positive against 0% of Wi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
