# DJI Go4 vs 8K Pro

The clearest difference is rating: DJI Go4 at 3.0 against 8K Pro's 1.8. DJI Go4 also leads on ratings volume (6.6K vs 8) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). 8K Pro's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DJI Go4 holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DJI Go4 has 6.6K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 24% and 25% positive.

DJI Go4 ships an update every 3 months, 8K Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
