# FishDonkey vs Fishtechy

The clearest difference is rating: Fishtechy at 4.4 against FishDonkey's 4.0. Fishtechy also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). FishDonkey's advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 42%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.4). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fishtechy holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 85 and 183 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of FishDonkey's written reviews are positive against 42% of Fishtechy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FishDonkey ships an update every 3 weeks, Fishtechy every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
