# Cốc Cốc vs MSM

The clearest difference is monetization model: MSM at free against Cốc Cốc's free with in-app purchases. MSM also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Cốc Cốc's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (64% vs 50%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Cốc Cốc ships an update weekly, MSM every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
