# LBW Construction vs Stair Calculator

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LBW Construction at 100% against Stair Calculator's 21%. LBW Construction also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 3 months). Stair Calculator's advantage is rating (4.1 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (740 vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stair Calculator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. LBW Construction asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stair Calculator holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stair Calculator has 740 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of LBW Construction's written reviews are positive against 21% of Stair Calculator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

LBW Construction ships an update every 2 months, Stair Calculator every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
