# Fax.Plus vs Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Fax.Plus at 4.7 against Pro's 3.3. Fax.Plus also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 165). Pro's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fax.Plus sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fax.Plus holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fax.Plus has 13K ratings behind it against 165, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of Fax.Plus's written reviews are positive against 54% of Pro's.

Fax.Plus ships an update every 9 days, Pro every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
