# Orenda vs TruGreen

Orenda and TruGreen both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of Orenda's written reviews are positive against 10% of TruGreen's. TruGreen's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 478). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Orenda against 4.6 for TruGreen. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TruGreen has 22K ratings behind it against 478, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Orenda's written reviews are positive against 10% of TruGreen's.

Orenda ships an update monthly, TruGreen every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
