# GH Tracker vs Fasting Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Fasting Tracker at 5.0 against GH Tracker's 3.6. GH Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (24 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GH Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Fasting Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fasting Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GH Tracker has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GH Tracker ships an update every 2 weeks, Fasting Tracker every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
