# Smoosh Lab vs Equilibrians (Lite)

The clearest difference is rating: Smoosh Lab at 4.6 against Equilibrians (Lite)'s 4.0. Smoosh Lab also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 105 months) and ratings volume (34 vs 1). Equilibrians (Lite)'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smoosh Lab sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Equilibrians (Lite) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smoosh Lab holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smoosh Lab has 34 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Smoosh Lab's written reviews are positive against 100% of Equilibrians (Lite)'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Smoosh Lab ships an update every 2 months, Equilibrians (Lite) every 105 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
