# taim vs Rechek

taim and Rechek both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Rechek's written reviews are positive against 48% of taim's. taim's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (3.1K vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rechek holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: taim has 3.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of taim's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rechek's.

taim ships an update fortnightly, Rechek every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
