# MOBOTIX LIVE vs M

The clearest difference is rating: MOBOTIX LIVE at 3.8 against M's 2.3. MOBOTIX LIVE also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). M's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MOBOTIX LIVE holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of MOBOTIX LIVE's written reviews are positive against 25% of M's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MOBOTIX LIVE ships an update every 2 months, M every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
